Air Permitting

Air permitting is the process of obtaining permission from your state government to release pollutants into the air. This process is necessary to ensure that polluting activities do not have a negative impact on public health and the environment. The air permitting process varies from state to state, but typically involves submitting an application to the state environmental agency, providing a detailed description of the proposed activity and emission sources, and demonstrating that the activity will comply with all applicable air quality regulations.

Compliance with an air permit typically requires meeting specific emissions limits and other requirements such as routine monitoring and record-keeping. Facilities may also be required to produce quarterly, biannual, and/or annual emission inventory reports and submit to state regulators.

Envirow has experience applying for state operating, Title V, and other air permits. Once permits are obtained, Envirow has helped companies formulate tracking spreadsheets and reporting processes to fully comply with the requirements set by the state operating permit.
