RCRA Solid & Hazardous Waste

The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, also known as RCRA, was enacted in 1976 in order to protect human health and the environment by regulating the management and disposal of hazardous waste. The law sets standards for the generation, handling, storage, treatment, and disposal of hazardous waste, and creates a system for tracking and regulating these activities.

There are many requirements of cradle-to-grave hazardous waste management including drum labeling, containers, storage limitations, satellite accumulation areas, waste profiling, universal wastes, manifesting, and recordkeeping requirements.

Envirow provides facility audits to identify areas for improvement and prepares organizations for State inspections.
